About No Man’s Sky Guide
An independent, fan-made handbook for No Man's Sky players.
No Man’s Sky Guide exists to provide free, comprehensive, and accurate strategy guides for No Man’s Sky players of every skill level. We believe every Traveller deserves access to high-quality game knowledge — without paywalls, gatekeeping, or fluff.
No Man's Sky Guide is an independent editorial project. We publish practical explainers for the systems players encounter in the game, from first repairs to late-game ships, expeditions, and base building.
We do not use untraceable claims of gameplay hours as evidence. Version-specific facts should be traceable to the source notes shown on each reviewed guide.
We use official Hello Games announcements and release notes for claims that depend on a specific update, feature, or availability window. Source notes are listed on guides that have completed this review.
Strategy recommendations are editorial judgment, not promises of a universal result. They can vary by platform, game mode, save state, and later patches. When a point is uncertain, the guide should say so rather than turn an assumption into a fact.
A guide's “Last Updated” date changes only when its information or editorial details are substantively reviewed or revised. It is not refreshed merely to make an older page appear new.

Version-specific claims are checked against primary sources where available, and guides distinguish sourced facts from editorial advice.
Reader corrections are welcome. We revise claims when stronger evidence or a game update changes the answer.
Every guide and resource is completely free. Game knowledge should be accessible to everyone — day-one explorer or seasoned Traveller alike.
We update a guide when it is reviewed, not on an artificial schedule. Its visible date and revision notes explain what changed.
- 1Research
We start with official release notes and announcements for update-specific features, then use reliable player material only where primary detail is unavailable.
- 2Verification
We check that version-specific claims match the cited source and mark the date and version scope of that review on the guide.
- 3Review
We separate sourced facts from recommendations, remove claims we cannot support, and make the evidence visible to readers.
- 4Updates
We revise a page when its information has been checked or changed. If you spot something outdated, let us know.
Whether you have feedback, a guide suggestion, a correction, or want to contribute content — we'd love to hear from you. Drop us a note through our community channels and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
